Snook are almost always around in the Everglades City area or Everglades national park. Depending on how you want to snookf fish and the moon phase. As a fishing guide I find most people on my boat do not have the skills to fish with top water other plugs casting under or to the mangrove trees for optimal results. we have to resort to jigs and farm rigs /on the bottom on the points and dead spots in the tide flow and wait for the fish to bite shrimp or lady fish chunk baits
Best season for snook
I find that snook bite the best on a falling tide in summer and fall. but can be caucht at all tides and seasons . but the bite is severely reduced in extrema cold weather. Some of the best Everglades Snook fishing is found deep in the south Everglades national park.
